OH...how i HEART Venice Beach! it's been a while since I've been back to my old stomping ground and it's always changing..new stores, lucious displays of foliage, great restaurants and beautiful homes.
the one thing I miss are the beautiful sunsets.
last week, I had the chance to connect with with my good friend Sonya and play in Venice for the day. we had a FABULOUS lunch on the patio of VENICE BEACH WINES. they have an amazing selection of wines and a fun chill atmosphere. When I moved to venice in 2007, VBW just opened and the owner, Oscar always poured wines for me and my friends when we came in. he introduced me to The Prisoner, one of my all time FAVES! it's wonderful to see it thriving and now they serve a DELICIOUS menu of cheese platters and made to order pannini's {try the brie & grape panini...YUMM} and home made potato chips! so if you are ever in the area...grab a seat in the lounge, sip a glass of wine & relax!!

strolling down the streets, I discovered a new store called BIG RED SUN. it's full of creative inspiration of the topiary kind, they specialize in innovative garden displays and "living walls" of succulents & moss {beautiful}. I HEART succulents and this nursury/boutique/green canvas is full of beautiful displays.

Wow, Big Red Sun is beautiful! I lived in Venice for 13 years and never knew this was there. I'll have to find it in my next trip down there. Great photos. Thanks for sharing!
