{try this}: doodle over your paintings with various markers and pencils. {NOTE: make sure painting is completely dry before using any marker}
write about 2009 accomplishments. write words from your ADJECTIVE bank.
alternate marker colors.LAYER your letters.
make a marker SAMPLER. write with different colors on paper to keep a record of you favorite colors.

i love copics, too, traci! i used them to blend/color my stamps for cards! and i've been using a lot of kol laj products (i always link to you).
anyway, never thought of using the wide copics. great idea and amazing inspiration as always, girlie!
