I have been inspired to do art daily - and my goal is to create an Artist Trading Card each day. 365 cards. A small space to try new ideas. Kind of like journaling but without the pressure to complete a big page : )

My goal for 2011 is to find more time to create more art and to learn how to journal without being worried about how it looks because I know we are all different and each unique but I think I am not good enough, so I hope to get over this hurdle.

My artistic goals are two-fold: 1) Do a little something daily for myself (art journal, ATC, etc. and 2) Be more proactive about my business--work on cards in the NOW so that summer isn't a stressful "sweatshop" vibe.

Thank you for the opportunity to win one of your classes. Hopefully you'll come to Melbourne Australia one day so I can take one in person.
My chosen word for 2011 is "shine". So my goal is to "shine" in everything I do, that is, doing my best and not worrying about what others think.
Many blessings for 2011

My goal for 2011 is to make an art journal from start to finish. I am a little intimidated by the binding process, but plan to follow the instructions in my Collage Unleashed book.

My art journaling goal aligns with your idea of art journaling daily, at least to look at it and ad something in daily. that would be awesome.
happy new creative year!

This is hard, to narrow it down to just ONE goal for 2011.
I guess I’d have to say I want to ‘be braver’ in 2011. Put myself out there more. Joining an online class would be a step in that direction. Thanks for the opportunity.

My goal for this year, arts-wise, that is: to take myself seriously as an artist. To embrace the term and apply to myself. I am not a trained, educated in secondary school person. What I know I have taught myself or learned from some fabulous folks online in ATC swaps. I am taking my first online class, starting tomorrow with Pam Carriker, and that is a goal I set, now realized. It is for visual journaling, a way to break through my hard-headedness! I would love to take a class which employs art techniques that are now "classical" drawing as I am NOT ready for that! Doodling doesn't sound as intimidating and yet the art created is equal to any fine art I have seen. This would be a great bonus to my new year. I am a first time grandma and my number one goal: to play with my grandboy, as much as possible. And to pass on art and reading to him. Thank you for your first-class generosity. Tina
