i HEART vintage.
i'm a collector of vintage...mostly 60s & 70's. yesterday, i took a break from the studio and tyler surprised me at brought me to moon zoom vintage. they specialize in 50s, 60s, & 70s vintage. apparently it's a big hit for halloween costumes. but i found a stack of great stuff...including a vera scarf! {i have an obsession with anything vintage vera...always on the hunt for her scarves}.
here are a few snapshots of the many racks of great clothing and accessories.
i especially LOVED all the patterns i discovered during my treasure hunt.
there are two floors and i barely made a dent..i could spend days going through each and every rack. vintage hawaiian muumuus. aprons. bins of scarves. plaids. aloha shirts.
more colorful fun...hot pink & lime green go go boots. ruffled petticoat bloomers. buttons. sleeves & cuffs. details on shirts. lace. trims. doodles & drawings on fabric.
everywhere i turned there was a burst of color or a pattern for creative inspiration! i took tons of pictures from our day of thrifting & antique shopping...
