a key part to my art journals are my photos.
on some pages I digitally REmix photos + words + art.
many times my creative inspiration comes in the form of photography. my camera is in my pocket or purse at all times. No matter where I am...there is always a glimpse of INSPIRATION that catches my attention... textures, nature, things that I LOVE.
I might not work in my physical journal each day, but I do collect INSPIRATION DAILY. One of my favorite things to do is create digital artwork that will be incorporated into my books.

a lot of creative play to create interesting image mash-ups...

Wow! Thank you, Traci, for the awesome tutorial! I had no idea this app even existed. Kinda of like a mini Photoshop for the iPhone. Very cool. Off to download that now...
