Taking time to nourish my soul and a much needed break from work, I've been getting back into gardening. It's something I haven't done in over eight years because of my crazy travel schedule. I'm venturing into growing organic flowers, succulents and a vegetable container garden.
Lately, I've been combining my photos with elements from my new Digital Art Journaling kits {coming soon}...the digital kits have brushes, stamps, overlays, hand lettered words and backgrounds...all created by me from my mixed media paintings. Also, I've been playing with my wacom tablet scribbling words and journaling over my photos. {click on the photos for detailed descriptions}

The text created by the wacom tablet is very interesting...reminds me of a glowing neon sign! These kits sound awesome!

I love the doodles! What kinds of organic flowers are you growing? I have German irises, hydrangea (does it count as flowers, or is it technically a shrub?), daylilies, geranium (it's taking over), and daffodils (they line both sides of my driveway in the spring).
