I was wondering how computer savvy I need to be to take this course. Happy to learn, but don't want to sign up for something I'm not able to finish. I've done that before. Let me know T
Traci.

Other than one's own artistic style and/or genre, what are some things financially successful artists have done that have really set them apart from the others?

I would like to discuss about how you decide what your core business will be if you have lots and lots of creative ideas, how do you choose what is best to begin your creative business with?

Is it important to focus on one specific area of art? Seems I have far too many interests.

I took one prt of this class at creative escape (I believe there were 2 classes) . I loved it and I am ready for more! The topic I would like to see addressed is tips for holding yourself accountable to get things done. I struggle with this. Thanks looking forward to this.

How do I find people that need my workshop? Where and how (besides internet) do I market myself?
Posted by: jeanet annoff | October 13, 2011 at 01:32 AM
I would love to win this class because I am really wanting to start my own business but I have so many ideas and no clue where to start, winning this class would be amazing <3

Do you feel it's necessary for an artist to "brand" herself with one style of art to become successful? If not, how do you think an artist with varied interests should market herself without seeming scattered?

Thanks for the opportunity to win ...

I would want to discuss how to keep up with the demand of the product. And how to create a base market for my art.

the creative business topic i'd currently like to know more about is licensing. most specifically, securing licensing agreements with multiple companies or working with just one on various lines (coloring books, stamps, plush toys, etc) using the same concepts/designs.

What a sensational course and so timely- I would love to discuss starting up, taking my hobby / obsession to a business is so daunting for me and i am so wracked with doubt, how do i do that?
Posted by: Louise | October 13, 2011 at 02:48 PM
One topic I would like to be discussed is how to effectively combine different creative ventures into one "branding", or something like that, other than just the name and an llc attached with it.
Posted by: Tinachicky | October 13, 2011 at 02:55 PM
how do you concentrate on just one idea and launching it? i always have soooo many ideas and can't decide which one i should go with. once you decide, if it's not doing as well as hoped, how do you decide to move on to something else?
Posted by: Groovyholly | October 13, 2011 at 04:01 PM
what creative business topic or question would I like to discuss? How to not let the turkeys get me down. How to pace myself so that I can work with my mood changes and not get behind if I need a "day off."
Posted by: Tracey | October 13, 2011 at 04:17 PM
i've mentioned this before - i'd like to see someone do an online class on "how to do an online class"!
