The best part of my holidays is spending time in Hawaii with my family especially my nieces. Before I left to visit Pua asked me via iChat..."Auntie Boo Boo..I want to paint with you when you come visit, are you gonna bring me a new journal?" I've been painting with Pua since she was a little over 12 months old, during a previous visit we made holiday wrapping paper. We've had painting lessons and made art every night for the past week. The youngest, who we call, Nuggs aka Nugget can't say complete sentences yet but she can say..."paint...paint...paint..boo boo!" They are budding artist at three and 18 months...here's a little collection of our collaborative art journal pages.

These are so sweet! My niece loves to borrow my art supplies when she visits. I love to spend time with her while she draws. On one visit, she made a bunch of drawings and I helped her bind them all into a book. She was thrilled! Happy New Year!
