today I remember my Grandpa Bautista on his birthday.
He was an incredible man...an entreprenuer, a golfer, an amazing cook, a world traveler but most of all a wonderful and loving Grandpa to eighteen grandkids. It was ALWAYS a treat to visit my grandparents in Monterey. One of my fondest memories of Grandpa was that he always had a bag of bread chopped into pieces ready for our trip to Dennis the Menace park to feed the ducks, play and ride the big slide. He would take us to Woolworth and always bought me some sort of crafting project. He dressed up as Santa to celebrate Chritmas {I am the little baby being held by my mom in the photo}. The picture of the letter above was written by my sister. He passed when I was 13 and I miss him dearly. I am blessed to have such loving and fond memories of him and Grandma. He taught me the importance of family and to live life to the fullest. He also gave me my nickname "Boo Boo". Grandpa you are truly missed.
thinking of you today and always...rest in peace..
i love you..boo

Just wanted to ask, is he Filipino? Bautista is a common filipino name. :^) Wonderful honoring!
