This week is the final celebration on my Doodles Unleashed online book tour! One of the last stops is with Stampington & Company. Today I am the guest artist on the Somerset Place blog and I share 15 art journaling creative prompts and ways to be inspired by art rather than copy it exactly.
My first article in a Stampington publication was in the March 2005 issue of Somerset Studio, which featured a 2-page spread of a few of my lettering projects on fabric. It's been seven years and I've been published numerous times in many of their publications including Artful Blogging, Where Women Create, Art Quilting Studio, Somerset Life, Take Ten, Altered Couture, Transparent Art and Somerset Workshop...to name a few. I also wrote a column called "Creativity Unleashed" in 2006-07, which I shared about the artists and creative places I discovered during my travels. A HUGE thank you to the team at Stampington for their continued support throughout the years, they are FABULOUS to work with!

In the current issue of Somerset Studio {March/April 2012}, I have the honor of being featured in the Artist Portfolio...super exciting! :) Check out the 10-page spread that includes a showcase of my recent artwork and a few pieces from Doodles Unleashed.

The photo at the top of the post was taken at Barnes and Noble a couple of weeks ago. I found my two books on the shelves with two of my articles published in the latest issues of Somerset Digital Studio and Somerset Studio. Btw, if you are looking for Doodles Unleashed at the book store, you'll find it in the Art Technique section not in Crafts.
Here's a little peek of my Artist Portfolio in Somerset Studio...
Head on over to Somerset Place to read my article about 15 art journaling creative prompts!

Wow, this book tour has had to be both exciting and exhausting. I can't imagine, but I sure am thankful for all the creativity you've brought our way. Thank you, and thanks for showing us new artists as well. Great Job, Traci!

thanks for the tip to look in the art techniques section for you book! I'll be stopping by Barnes & Noble tomorrow on my way home from work to see if it's there - been scrounging the craft section for it with no luck, lol! Your style is so unique and that is something to be exceptionally proud of! Congrats on your new book and much luck to you for continued success.
