Take a creative mixed media journey to explore all about Girlie Glam and Fashionista faces. Play with a variety of mediums from paint, canvas to markers and brushes while you explore doodling to create your own stylized faces. I'll share numerous background techniques including collage, watercolor and graffiti tissue paper and how I incorporate them into my paintings. Throughout the workshop you'll be guided with daily art journal prompts in combination with HD videos for painting stylized faces.

Today I'm inspired by my watercolours. I'm just playing and discovering which colours are my favourites and which ones work well together. It's very freeing and non-judgemental. Thank you for this opportunity.

Today I'm being inspired by the big bold colors of Summer, the flowers in bloom and colorful birds in my yard. Planning on sketching a bit tonight and pulling out my watercolors for a bit of play.
Love the Glam Girl faces and would love to learn how to draw my own!

the red bucket hat on my head inspires me today........nah not really, its my mom who inpires me. I just thought I would wear it today because I think I look more like her when I wear it. She loved anything red, especially the red cardinal. I miss my mom so much, she left this earth way too soon because of cancer. My REAL inspiration is my MOM, hello in heaven! what's inspiring me? the fact that not only me, but my husband & daughter are all trying to eat healthier. which as resulted in us creating more healthy types of smoothies. which encompasses using such colorful fruits & veggies...inspiring all around...

Your Girly Glam Faces artwork inspired me a lot just looking at all of that creative goodness. I would so love to win this class as I think it would help me do faces more in my journals. I love your style and your Collage Pauge just rocks my world.

the rain is inspiring me today! it has been a long hot summer in Texas but we've been so lucky to have rain this past week. As it soaks into the ground, lands on cars and lawn furniture, and drops onto plants, it makes everything look more vibrant than it has lately.

Hi Traci, I'm inspired by just what I always wanted...We live in the lovely Somerset countryside in the UK and what's keeping me inspired for hours at a time at the moment is the possibilities that having my own art room where I'm surrounded by my collection of mixed media goodies from paint to pipe cleaners is going to give me.
The completion date for the art room created from an old shed in our garden is 1st August 2012. Instead of working on art from a corner of our bedroom, I'll be doing it in a fabulous space and the art room itself is a whole new blank canvas to splash with doodles, marks, fabric and above it all love! Counting the sleeps!

I just changed my dining room into an art studio. I like to work in there and decided that I'm just going to have that room for myself and completely move in there! It has a nice window and is a comfortable room for me. That is so inspiring to me because I can just go in there and play and still be on the same level as the rest of the family (instead of going to the basement). It makes my heart happy!
