you are in my heart...
I spent an afternoon painting and writing on my studio walls...
embacing whatever is to come with open arms...
my mornings start with fresh ginger tea & honey...
july in the studio... where did this month go?
After being on the road for a couple weeks in June and my parents visiting from Hawaii, there is a lot to do! I've been busy getting {studio 323*7} ready for the grand opening this saturday in Danville, CA! don't forget...come by July 21 from 12-3pm for some artful inspiration and creative conversation. If you can't make it for the grand opening and would like to visit, I am open by appointment...just contact me via email.
I'm working hard to set up everything in the boutique and studio. I spent some time doodling on the chalkboard wall, making new mixed media kits, fiber & embellishment kits and I managed to squeeze in a couple of days of painting.
Tyler has been a trooper helping me move around the around the furniture multiple times. I'm planning on changing the decor every three months. :) This will provide lots of creative inspiration for projects and my blog.
As if my plate wasn't full enough, this weekend, I decided to give my blog a little facelift in preparation for the launch of my new digital boutique. I'm in the process of updating all my online sites with my new logo and branding. If you are reading this via RSS feed, you might want to pop on over and take a look at my new blog design. I have been using Typepad since 2003, with each redesign I have created a custom template. This time I chose the CLEAN theme, added custom css and hand lettered blog buttons on the right sidebar. I'm still working on the mobile version, for some reason the right side bar is not appearing when viewed on my iPhone. I have a few more updates to the new design but I am excited to launch the first phase. In the coming months, I will be working on all new blog content and providing you with more inspirations, stories and ideas.
Thank you for visiting and hope you like the new format..would love to hear your thoughts! xo~Traci

p.s. the SALE on my new online workshop Girlie Glam Faces ends July 20..leave a comment on the giveaway post to win a seat!

The first thing I noticed was the new pic and the bio...liked how it captured The Traci living la vida jet set (killer hairstyle, btw!). I also like the blog's new uncluttered look; lots of white space makes your art really stand out and shine. Heading off to check out our Ning group now.

Traci, Traci, Traci!!! I LOVE the new blog design . . . it's beautiful! During these past 5 years of "knowing" you, I've seen so much growth in so many areas of your artsy little (BIG) life. From the first pdf's that I ever laid my eyes on, to the little happies that I've received from you, to watching video after video & being in complete awe of your skills, to seeing a DVD as well as two super-wonderful books be successful, to anxiously awaiting the opening of your online boutique, to being so super jealous that I don't live close enough to come see you at {studio 323*7}, and last but not least . . . the HUGE blOg reVAMP! Girlfriend, you always have been & will continue to be the inspiration & motivation that first got me started as a mixed media artist & that continues to keep me inspired & motivated everyday. Congrats Traci-girl!
Hugs! Steph xo
