For those of you who have followed my blog since it's inception in 2003, you virtually met Freedom & trei*trei, my two little spunky, friendly and water-loving Yorkies. They traveled the country with me, made appearances on my blog and hung out at my workshops from time to time. The first question from many of my students would be, "how are the puppies?" These little pups brought so much love, joy and happiness to my life. In 2009, Freedom passed {she would have been 11 in August} and trei*trei moved to Hawaii with my parents, so he's enjoying the beach life. This month will be three years since Freedom's passing, it was a very sad event and took a long time for me to get through the difficulty of losing her. I still miss her dearly. I'm sure those of you who have pets understand, they are part of our family.
PUPPY LOVE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I finally feel like it's okay to have another pup, especially since I'm not traveling like I was in previous years. Tyler was raised with a number of rescued pups and is an avid dog lover too. We decided it was time for a new puppy join our family. After visiting a few different breeders, we found this little {2.5lb} bundle of joy, she's ALL puppy, nibbling on everything including our toes. She's sweet, a maltese/Yorkie mix, loves people and is a little dare devil trying to jump on and off of everything.
Every day comes a new experience, after getting her used to her new home the past week, she took her first trip to my studio and loved it! She can't go for walks until she gets all her shots, so for now she is carried in my bag. YES..she is a purse pup...she slept the entire time snuggled with her blanket in my purse while we were out to lunch. I haven't had a puppy in over 10 years and it's a lot of work to get her house trained, but we are enjoying every minute with our sweetheart! :)so excited to share our little girl....introducing INDIE!
happy labor day...xoxo~treiC, Tyler & lil Indie

Oh, sweet friend, he's adorable! Puppies are more work, but worth it -- they teach us to look at the work in a new, more playful way! I'm still on my first dogs, so I can't even imagine what it must have been to go through - well, I can, and it breaks my heart. I'm glad you've healed enough to bring another pup into your life. :D Thank you for sharing!

Indie is Sooooooo adorable!! As a dog owner too I know just how much pleasure and heartache our furry friends can bring. Puppies are just the best - so playful and hugable and Indie looks simply delightful.

Indie is so darling. My little Jack (named after Jack. Bauer on "24" without the messenger bag) turns 5. What is it about Yorkies that get into your hearts and won't let you go? CONGRATULATIONS on your new baby.
