My grandma had a huge influence in my love for all things creative. She created ceramics with wildly painted colors and patterns, was a seamstress, dressed fashionably with matching handbags & jewelry and worked in her garden everyday. She was always baking or cooking and made sure everyone was well fed and taken care of. She gave me my first Speedball calligraphy pen set when I was 8, I carried it around everywhere to practice my writing. She hand wrote letters to her friends and family and never missed a birthday. I am blessed to have so many wonderful memories of her...she was an AMAZING woman.
ten years ago today, you left us to be with grandpa in heaven.
remembering you today and always...
you are forever in our hearts...
i love you and miss you grandma...boo

I get my love of crafting and art from my dad's mother too! She used to sew, embroider, knit, crochet, make jewelry and make things out of cut and curled tin cans. She lived in Santa Fe New Mexico & we would often visit during Fiestas in September. She would make my sisters and I matching Fiesta dresses so that we could march in the pet parade with her pet Pomeranian dogs, Winkie & Twinkie. She used to work at the La Fonda Hotel in downtown Santa Fe and sold many of the things she made at their gift shops. She was very talented, loving and generous & I miss her also.

A beautiful soul. What would we do without the influential women who have guided us to be the women we are? We all give thanks to her for nurturing your talents so that we are influenced by you. Thanks to Spirit for giving us such gifts.
