artJOURNALING daily: floral sketch

in September I posted #artjournalingdaily on Instagram and had a great response...so I'm continuing to the series again on my blog. I will post creative prompts and art journaling ideas a few times a week. I'll also share the prompts via IG @treicdesigns and my FACEBOOK fan page.

#artjournalingdaily prompt: floral sketch

use my photo above of an Autumn bouquet to inspire your color palette and a sketch in your journal.

I like to sketch more abstract than realistic in my journals.

draw the shapes & lines you see. paint with watercolor. this page was created in a Strathmore Mixed Media Visual Journal using Sakura Koi travel sketch watercolors, water brush and Copic Multiliner pen.

I'm beyond thrilled that you are continuing with the daily art prompts. Each one has been AWESOME AND FUN AND COLORFUL!! It really helps that you give a few ideas for each prompt, then I can pick which one works best for me or for what supplies I have.
