the beautiful shades of Autumn are captured in a collection of fallen leaves. I've gathered these during my walks with Indie. the gorgeous leaves have inspired my color palettes and made their way into my paintings lately. Deep chocolate browns, tan, bright greens, maroon, mustard, aubergine and various shades of rusted copper. I've spent the past few days creating leaf inspired prints which will be revealed in a couple of upcoming tutorial posts. For now enjoy the many beautiful shades of the season!

what a great post! I have leaves by the millions in my yard and each one is more beautiful than the next. Thanks for the color palettes and inspiration. I also want to try and paint directly on the leaves to see if they remain beautiful or dry and crinkle up. I love your idea of making pages to use in a journal or canvas. As far as the prompt, I dont have to go any further than my front yard or for that matter my street. It is just beautiful!

Thanks for this paintings, with combinations of motivation. I also want to try and colour straight on the results in to see if they stay wonderful or dry and crinkle up. I really like your concept of creating painting to use in a publication or fabric.
