{snapshots} CHA winter 2012

I've just returned from CHA Winter show in Anaheim, this was the tenth year I've attended and it never dissapoints. One of my favorite things about the show is catching up with all my creative and talented friends. Through the years I have been blessed with meeting so many wonderful people who have been my cheerleaders, mentors and inspirations. I was busy running around the show floor with book signings and meetings...so I didn't take as many photos as I wanted to but here are a few snapshots of these lovely peeps.

Thank you to everyone who came out to my FW Media booth Doodles Unleashed book signing!! There was a very long line..thanks for sharing in my celebration.

Doodles Unleashed is officially shipping and I hope you are enjoying all of the colorful inspiration. Coming this month, I will continue the celebration with a few of my artsy friends through a virtual blog party..lots more details on my book blog tour soon.

CHA traveling book release party

If you haven't heard my new book, Doodles Unleashed is officially being released at CHA tradeshow in Anaheim this weekend! Come find me traveling through the show floor and get a FREE signed copy. I'll be visiting some of my artsy friends, favorite manufacturers, doing a few book signings and creating make-n-take projects.

Here's my schedule..I will make surprise appearances at different booths and tweet, post on Facebook and Instagram {@treicdesigns}...the first few people to show up where I am at the show floor will recieve a special giveaway. Check the show map for booth numbers. Don't worry if you are not attending CHA, I'll do a special giveaway for those who are following along.

TREND: paper fashion couture. this piece was my FAVE in the entire show...look at all those leaves outlined in glitter!

TREND: paper& fabric flower embellishments. there seem to be no shortage of beautful flower displays and scrapbook accessories. some booths even turned their flowers into fashion garments.

I can't do a CHA post without mentioning...i HEART hambly! always beautiful and inspring papers, overlays, rub-ons and new washi tape...super FAB!!!

and more....paper flowers, pin cushions & felted ornamanets. FELT seemed to be everywhere this year.

My three days at CHA were filled with back-to-back meetings and non-stop talking, walking and visiting with friends...it was a huge success but I'm totally exhausted! I'm looking forward to sharing some of the great things in the works coming up in 2011...lots of exciting stuff! If you couldn't tell by my photos CHA was a blast as usual...great times with all my pals, checking out the latest trends in paper arts & crafting. I left with a lot of new inspriations, ideas and business plans. check out a few more CHA photos here. thanks for following along...xo~treiC

LIVE from CHA...day ONE!

This is my eighth year attending CHA and every year the excitement to see all the new products and trends never dies. But my FAVORITE part about coming to these shows is catching up with old friends and meeting new ones! This year I'm thrilled to be able to walk the show floor to research trends, visit with vendors and meet with many of the companies who have been my fabulous sponsors over the years.

Day ONE was filled with visiting with old pals, crocheting and lots of walking!
