How is the LIVE e-course delivered? ---->The Discovering YOU creative business e-courses are delivered on a private classroom in my creativity unleashed art community and available 24/7 for you to access and work on at your own pace. Once you have been granted access to the classroom, the lessons are SELF GUIDED INSTANT DOWNLOAD with informational/inspirational/resource posts.
How do we contact you during the LIVE e-course? This e-course is now self-guided, so there is no LIVE interaction. If you are working on this e-course after the LIVE session, the weekly chat replays are available for your to read.
Where can I post class assignments? There is a FACEBOOK private group & photo galleries where you can share your art.
How long is the e-course content available? The workshop content is available for unlimited access. the classroom will be open for forever access to the discussions, galleries and can continue to share with the class. It was origitally published in 2010 and 2011. I am working on updating the content in 2014 and will run another LIVE session.
is it necessary for me to take DISCOVERING YOU part one before I take PART TWO?---> I would highly recommend it, especially if you are new to building your creative business because we will not be covering content from part one. PART TWO is geared towards executing your creative marketing roadmap from the research and information collected during part one. But, if you don't take part one and if you have been in business for at least a year and have a web presence you will benefit from the DISCOVERING YOU part two.
how much time should I to set aside for class exercises each week?--->The amount of time you set aside to work on the workbook exercises is completely up to you. This course is a little different than my art technique workshops. Each week I will post lessons and ask that you share your work. It’s not mandatory, but if you’d like specific feedback about building your personal marketing plan it would be helpful if you turned in assignments. You can also choose to download and work on the exercises at your own pace. The creative exercises will prepare you for creating your marketing roadmap.
Do I have to complete all the creative exercises during the e-course?---> No, you can work on whatever applies to your business. You will continue to work, refine and execute your plans long after the course is complete. There will be a lot of info provided. Some lessons you will use now and other strategies which will come in handy as you build your creative business. You can participate as much or as little as you want. Building your business will happen over time. So don't feel like you have to rush through the material. Complete the exercises that relate to your business now and save the rest for later.
what can I expect during the LIVE session?--->Although I have content written, this e-course will be tailored to the artists that are participating. I send out a short questionnaire before the workshop starts to find out more about you, your business and your current marketing situation. This helps me design content relevant for the students in the class. Also, I will be using real time examples and profile a couple of the students business and sharing insight from other established artists during the workshop. You can expect to be part of a supportive group and meet wonderful artists from all over the world. Most of all I hope that you will walk away truly inspired and ready to promote YOU and your ART!
what made you create this class which was radically different than all of your others?---> I have had a lot of people ask about building their creative business and marketing their art. I am always talking about it to my artist friends. Marketing and creative business is something I am very passionate about and I think that its important to share my knowledge to those in this industry. I want to help artists become savvy business or marketing people. With a little knowledge and planning every artist can be successful if they work hard at the business/marketing side :) so that's why I created the discovering Y.O.U e-course.
do you have additional coaching options? ----AT THIS TIME THERE ARE NOT any coaching options. Ocassionally when I have time, there are opportunities for additional coaching. I will have one on one coaching, marketing plan coaching and online marketing audit options available. I will post more details soon.
