Today was a busy day of working on the computer in the car {love my broadband card} and a full day of shopping and trending. Once of my favorite times of the year to browse store windows is the holiday season. Last year, I shared holiday windows at Ala Moana Shopping Center in Hawaii. Today I made a quick stop at one of my favorite stores...Anthropologie to be inspired by the displays which are always a rich array of colors and a great source of ideas for DIY handmade projects. Everytime I walk through the doors, I am enamoured with the fun handmade paper displays, bohemian chic clothing and ecletic home decor. I LOVE purusing their inventory for interesting items that inspire colors and ideas for my artwork. Here's a peek into some of the things that caught my eye...
so many sources of inspiration...I loved LOVED love the bright crochet chain garland! I used to hand crochet when I was younger, so this brought back fond memories. not to mention look at those luscious colors..totally my palette! check out the brightly knitted multi-color stockings, the twisted fiber wrapped reindeer, wood veneer paper chain to the felt christmas tree...so many ideas!
what INSPIRES your decorations this holiday season?
happy decorating..xoxo~treiC
