artJOURNALING daily: {patterns} FIVE colorful backgrounds

For today's artJOURNALING daily prompt I created colorful backgrounds inspired by vintage pattern photos. Using elements in each of the photos, I quickly painted and sketched patterns on my pages.

  I used a combination of Copic markers, Sharpies, Permapaques and Koi Water Colors. Experiment with your favorite mark making tools to create colorful backgrounds!
