Over the past few months, I have received numerous emails asking for more details about my online workshops...including which would be best for beginners, what I would recommend for those starting a creative business, etc. I've decided to share more about each of the self-guided online workshops I offer through a series of blog posts.
I've traveled the world teaching mixed media for over 10 years and have been producing/creating online workshop for three years. I have a catalog of 16 e-courses with over 170 HD videos on a variety of mixed media topics from painting, doodling, surface design and creative business. Each e-course/online workshop has colorful PDF downloadable workbooks many which have over 100 pages of inspiration. I'm working on putting a few final touches on my new digital boutique and will share more videos and info when the new website launches in a couple weeks.

Here's the first in-depth preview for my new REDEFINE the Doodle online workshop series which began with workshop #1: inspirations + mark-making last week. During this workshop, Monday through Friday, I post a new mixed media lesson with videos and/or pdf workbooks. We also have live streaming video chats where I answer questions and share techniques.
Here's a peek at the first week of techniques...so far there are EIGHT video lessons and 20 pages of creative inspiration. This workshop runs LIVE from April 30 - May 25 and is available to access and work at your own pace until December 31, 2012. You can register at anytime and once the lesson is LIVE you can view the videos as much as you like and the PDF workbooks are downloadable. The videos can be accessed 24/7 on the computer, watched on many smartphones like iPhones and Droids and most tablet devices like iPad, Kindle, etc.

lesson four: flowers + finger painting flower doodle. this video lesson shows step-by-step how to create this piece of art from Doodles Unleashed.
lesson five: found tools +stencils. in this lesson you go on a hunt for interesting mark-making tools and I share a video on creative mixed media layers using stencils, watercolor sprays and paint daubers
lesson six: music + doodle prompts. in this lesson I share fun ways to be inspired by music and provide creative doodle/painting jumpstarts to guide you in painting your own "stylized" painting.
