{studio 323*7} is officially open! It's taken almost two months to get things renovated and set up. I'm excited to share my charming NEW studio boutique with you in person. This is my working studio & workshop space and usually it's open by appointment only, but I've decided to have a "soft" opening this weekend because the Danville Fine Arts Faire is in town.
I'll be at my studio on Saturday, June 16 from 1pm -5pm and Sunday, June 17 from 11am - 4pm. It's located in the historic Old Danville Hotel across the courtyard from Sideboard Cafe. The front door faces West Prospect Ave and is next to GoSimpleSolar. If you are in the area come by and say hi!

about the Danville Fine Arts Faire|The 21st Annual Danville Fine Arts Faire (June 16-17, 10AM-5PM, Downtown Danville), co-sponsored by the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Danville, attracts over 50,000 people every year to beautiful Hartz Avenue in downtown Danville-a city 40 miles east of San Francisco that's a mix of beautiful residences from the Gold Rush days along with magnificent homes of the future. Quaint Hartz Avenue is a natural for unique specialty shops and gourmet dining. During June, the weather is usually very warm, but the tree-lined street offers plenty of shady rest areas.
This festival has approximately 60% fine art and 40% contemporary and traditional crafts. More than 200 talented artists gather to display and sometimes even produce one-of-a-kind sculpture, glass, painting, jewelry, ceramics, photography and more! In addition to the fine art on display, artists will be in action at the Italian Street Painting experience on East Prospect Avenue, presented by Diablo Magazine. Artists will create masterpieces in 12ft. X 12ft. squares with chalk on pavement - this year's theme focus is food. Fair-goers can watch the foodscapes come alive throughout the weekend. Watch this year's artists-in-action beginning early Saturday morning, then come back to see the end result late Sunday afternoon. See festival map for locations & be sure to bring a camera.
A variety of entertainment will be provided including folk-rock guitarist Brian Bergeron, and Vic Moraga and Jeffrey Michael will return for Latin-infused and contemporary melodies. Children will enjoy train rides provided by the Museum of the San Ramon Valley and fun games and activities provided by Backyard Carnivals. Prospect Avenue will host local merchants taking their business outside to the streets and on Sunday 6/17, East Prospect Avenue will be the site of The First Annual Father's Day Classic Car Show. Bring Dad out to see the best of local 'Vettes, Rods and Classics! Admission and parking are free.
