CHA 2015 anaheim schedule

It's January and I'm excited to head to the annual CHA {craft and hobby association} tradeshow this week. This year it's all about Printmaking Unleashed for me!! This is my twelfth year attending, it's always such a fun and inspiring event especially because I get to catch up with some of my FAVE creative friends and see all the new craft products.

Explore alternative printmaking techniques from my new book Printmaking Unleashed! This mixed media process workshop is all about expressive mark-making, playful prints and pattern PLAY. We'll create handmade stamps and experiment with stenciling techniques working with paint and markers to build vibrant paintings. Experiment with some of my favorite techniques including dyed cloth stamping, resist printing, stencil & monoprint acrylic skins.

Printmaking Unleashed book + printmaking kit included in CHA workshop!!

All students registered in my CHA workshop receive a copy of Printmaking Unleashed, a limited edition Traci Bautista for StencilGirl stencil from my collection and a kit of my FAVE mixed media tools and a printmaking tool kit PLUS supplies from my lovely sponsors including iLoveToCreate, Golden Artist Colors, Ranger, Strathmore Artist papers, Roc-lon fabrics and Sakura of America. It's that time of year...when crafters, artists, designers and manufacturers head to sunny southern california for the annual craft and hobby tradeshow...CHA winter mega show! This is a great event for networking, researching trends and meeting up with all my artsy/crafty friends. This year I will be attending a few workshops, meetings, walking the show floor and will be speaking on a panel about online workshops.

{snapshots} CHA winter 2012

I've just returned from CHA Winter show in Anaheim, this was the tenth year I've attended and it never dissapoints. One of my favorite things about the show is catching up with all my creative and talented friends. Through the years I have been blessed with meeting so many wonderful people who have been my cheerleaders, mentors and inspirations. I was busy running around the show floor with book signings and meetings...so I didn't take as many photos as I wanted to but here are a few snapshots of these lovely peeps.

Doodles Unleashed is officially shipping and I hope you are enjoying all of the colorful inspiration. Coming this month, I will continue the celebration with a few of my artsy friends through a virtual blog party..lots more details on my book blog tour soon.

CHA traveling book release party

If you haven't heard my new book, Doodles Unleashed is officially being released at CHA tradeshow in Anaheim this weekend! Come find me traveling through the show floor and get a FREE signed copy. I'll be visiting some of my artsy friends, favorite manufacturers, doing a few book signings and creating make-n-take projects.

Here's my schedule..I will make surprise appearances at different booths and tweet, post on Facebook and Instagram {@treicdesigns}...the first few people to show up where I am at the show floor will recieve a special giveaway. I can't do a CHA post without mentioning...i HEART hambly! always beautiful and inspring papers, overlays, rub-ons and new washi tape...super FAB!!!

My three days at CHA were filled with back-to-back meetings and non-stop talking, walking and visiting with friends...it was a huge success but I'm totally exhausted! I'm looking forward to sharing some of the great things in the works coming up in 2011...lots of exciting stuff! If you couldn't tell by my photos CHA was a blast as usual...great times with all my pals, checking out the latest trends in paper arts & crafting. LIVE from CHA...day ONE!

This is my eighth year attending CHA and every year the excitement to see all the new products and trends never dies. But my FAVORITE part about coming to these shows is catching up with old friends and meeting new ones! This year I'm thrilled to be able to walk the show floor to research trends, visit with vendors and meet with many of the companies who have been my fabulous sponsors over the years.

Day ONE was filled with visiting with old pals, crocheting and lots of walking!
