crocheted & striped sweaters above..all that inspiration on one rack!
did you see all the fabulous vintage goodies from my previous post? here's part two..all the snapshots of the vintage fabrics inspired today's artJOURNALING daily photo prompt no.5...PATTERNS.
when you walk into a store really look with "different eyes."
what do you see? what captures your attention?
the colors. the patterns. the prints. the fabric.
take a few pictures.
I loved the watercolor look and vibrant colors of the flowers on this vintage muumuu.
another great pattern at the bottom of a long dress
embroidered diamond shapes on a poncho
bright plaid prints everywhere on pants & skirts.
a bright green evening gown. this I LOVED too..not only because the dress design looked art nouveau inspired but the pattern was textured and felt like it was drawn on with dimensional paint.
as you can see there are so many inspirations you can find from one trip to a vintage store. if you can't get to a store in person, scour the internet for vintage boutiques.
NEXT UP...I'll share how I used my vintage pattern photos to inspire colorful art journal pages.
snap those cameras...be inspired! xo~treiC
